Il a poursuivi sa formation m\u00e9dicale \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Gen\u00e8ve et est devenu sp\u00e9cialiste en p\u00e9diatrie en 2000 et en maladies infectieuses en 2010. Il a obtenu son doctorat de m\u00e9decine en 2004 pour une dissertation avec le titre intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Study of vaccine-induced immunity in children after liver transplantation in Geneva between 1990 and 2002\u00a0\u00bb. De 2003 \u00e0 2007, Alessandro Diana \u00e9tait \u00e0 la t\u00eate du d\u00e9partement de p\u00e9diatrie \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital Pourtal\u00e8s \u00e0 Neuch\u00e2tel. Il est actuellement m\u00e9decin-chef de la Clinique des Grangettes Hirslanden \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve et conf\u00e9rencier \u00e0 la Facult\u00e9 de m\u00e9decine de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Gen\u00e8ve. Ses domaines d&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat scientifique sont l&rsquo;infectiologie, l&rsquo;immunologie, la vaccinologie et le contact avec les vaccino-h\u00e9sitants.
